Introducing Budget Baby BEREN! This is a Berenjuer Baby Doll that I took apart , stripped, and repainted with Miracle Blend Air Dry paints and powders. (S)he is weighted with #3 Glass Beads to 4lbs 12.7oz and honestly feels so sweet when held. Because they are a budget baby, they are missing some upscale things like silicone butt cheeks and tummy but she’s got veining, shading, undertones and blushing and the most striking pale eyes. (S)he takes a modified pacifier (included) and has a magnet for a magnetic hair accessory. Beren will go home dressed in the hospital outfit (side snap tee, diaper, pants, hospital hat, bracelet and receiving blanket). Included with Beren will be 2 additional outfits, pacifier, pacifier strap, hair accessory or hat, lovey, big blanket and a small box opening. You CAN pay an extra fee to upgrade to a medium or large box opening if you like.

What is a budget baby? A Budget baby, quite simply, is any Reborn that is made to be sold for a budget price. Usually, a Budget reborn is made from a baby doll (such as Berenguers which have a long history in the Reborn community) or something from Paradise Galleries, Ashton Drake, etc. The Reborn artist takes the doll apart, strips off the factory paint, then reborns the doll as they would any kit. Once the doll is reborned, it is then placed on a cloth body (often the same one it came with, but sometimes the body is replaced by a different one)
